Is Clinic App software or a done-for-you service?

Clinic App is a done-for-you service delivered through software, not a self-serve platform you configure alone. The Clinic App team designs, builds and launches your branded app, trains your front desk, and sits down with you every month to read the numbers and tune what is working. You get the app. You do not get a blank dashboard and a login.

Is Clinic App software, or a service?

Both, but the service is the part that actually matters day to day. The output is software: a branded app under your clinic's own name, in the App Store, that your patients use to track points, memberships and rewards. But nobody at your clinic builds that app, configures it, or is left to work out how to run a loyalty program from first principles.

That is a different model to most loyalty and membership tools on the market, which hand a clinic owner a dashboard, a set of settings, and a support inbox for when something breaks. White-label vs generic loyalty apps for clinics covers that self-serve category in more detail. Clinic App sits closer to a managed retention partner than a piece of software you administer yourself.

What actually happens during setup?

Most clinics are live seven to fourteen days from the go-ahead. In that window, the Clinic App team builds the branded app itself, and separately builds the launch: training the front desk on the checkout flow, and preparing the words and materials patients see when they are invited to sign up.

The clinic is not handed a project to manage. The build and the rollout are run by the Clinic App team, with the clinic's input on brand, tiers and offers rather than the technical work. What the front desk sees and does in a clinic app covers the checkout side of that training in full.

What does the monthly session actually cover?

Once live, the clinic gets an owner's dashboard with headline revenue and membership metrics, front-desk controls, and the settings for campaigns and rewards. But the dashboard is not where the program gets steered from. Each month, the Clinic App team reviews the actual numbers with the clinic and adjusts what is running, whether that is a reward that is not converting, a tier that needs repricing, or a message cadence that is not landing.

This matters because a dashboard on its own does not tell an owner what to change next. It reports what happened. The monthly session is where that gets turned into a decision, made with someone who has run the same adjustment across other clinics before.

A dashboard tells you what happened last month. A done-for-you service tells you what to change next month, and then changes it with you.

What does the clinic still need to do?

Not nothing. The build, training and ongoing tuning are handled, but the program still lives or dies on two things only the clinic controls: whether the front desk actually mentions the app at checkout, and whether patients open it once they have it. How to improve clinic app adoption at your clinic covers what drives that second part specifically.

What the done-for-you model removes is the technical and strategic burden, not the clinic's own role in using the program it now has. A clinic that never mentions the app at the front desk will not see results from it, regardless of how well it was built.

How is this different from buying loyalty software and setting it up yourself?

Both approaches produce a working loyalty or membership program. The difference is who does the ongoing work of running it well.

Reflects Clinic App's own service model against the general self-serve category, not a specific named competitor. See how much a clinic loyalty app costs in Australia for how that ongoing support is factored into pricing.

Clinic App is built for clinics that want the retention layer to actually get run, not just installed. It sits on top of the booking system already in use, and the done-for-you model exists because a branded app that nobody tunes after month one stops earning its place on a patient's phone.

Frequently asked questions

Is Clinic App something we set up ourselves, or does your team build it?

Your team builds it. Clinic App is a done-for-you service delivered through software: the Clinic App team designs, builds and launches your branded app, trains your front desk, and keeps running it alongside you. You are not handed a blank dashboard and left to configure it yourself.

How long does it take to go live?

Most clinics are live seven to fourteen days from the go-ahead. That covers the build, front-desk training and the patient launch, not just switching on a login.

What happens in the monthly session if the numbers are not moving?

The Clinic App team reviews what is and is not working with you and adjusts campaigns, rewards or messaging together, rather than leaving you to diagnose the dashboard alone.

Does the clinic still have to do anything, or is it fully hands-off?

Not fully hands-off. The build, training and ongoing tuning are done for you, but the program still runs on your front desk mentioning it at checkout and your patients actually opening the app, the same as any in-clinic program.
